Ayumi Yoshida

Note: Most of these character's don't have accounts- they're simply here for reference. I'm working on bust shots of each one so you have a visual, but those are going to be a while unfortunately. For now, each one gets a base description of their appearance to compensate.

Edogawa Conan – bigbirdconan – More cynical than his canon counterparts, and also more easily agitated. The latter can be blamed on his bird half. Extremely intelligent, bored easily, afraid of what he could 'become' due to immortality; Hatsu is a fairly clear window of it. Less likely to adamantly refuse the violent solution if it's the only option.

Despite not wanting anything to do with dueling, he signed up for the academy to keep an eye on Koji; his parents' funding meant entry into Obelisk Blue rather than Yellow. (Ordinarily, Blue would require a second exam to test exceptional skills in DUELING rather than simply intelligence.) It should be noted that Conan and Koji were pulled from their worlds before entry however.

Hisoka Koji – hisokakoji – Possibly rendered partially insane thanks to events in 'Section F' of the Black Organization. During a hostage situation induced by Vodka, was tased and nearly drowned to death, causing an instinctual retaliation that resulted in Vodka's death- the mauling (and partial eating) is the only killing he remembers in full detail, and as a result is by far the most traumatic experience he's had thus far (that he recalls). Has a life debt with Shindou and any relatives he might have, and in attempting to watch Kiyoiri to hold this has become quite close to the girl, acting as a 'brother'. Listed as Kiyoiri's cousin by her 'Mother'. His seeming 'laid back' attitude is more or less the fault of his tiger side.

Currently in Osiris Red, as Hatsu dosed him with catnip before his exam. He doesn't like dueling (AT ALL), but followed the others to make sure Kiyoiri was alright.

Matsuda Kiyoiri – Has mid back length hair, and is a few centimetres shorter than Conan. Intelligent, but prefers the arts over logic. Suffers from a fading case of DID, in that overly violent or extreme events cause her to zone out and lock within herself. (Prior this she would simply go on a robotic slaughter spree).

Kiyoiri is the result of a cloning experiment formed by Section F; Shindou chose to use his second cousin's DNA for the experiment due to the teen's intelligence, and the goal was a 'near instant soldier'. Upon lamenting the mistake he'd made in suggesting the plan however, a coworker would modify the programming and destroy the y-chromosome, as well as cutting the intended 'age-of-birth' to six. (The result is that Kiyoiri is considered a partially-identical twin, with traits comparable to Turner Syndrome in regard to height and infertility.) Kiyoiri, initially 'Shinri' or 'Schnapps', would then be trained rigorously and used for overtly 'silent' kills while living with Shindou and his wife as their 'daughter'- she was beginning to recover and understand emotions before her mother killed herself in a fire to give time for Koji and herself to escape however, resulting in the split between personalities for quite some time; 'Kiyoiri', the 'base' and 'childish' one, and 'Schnapps', the killing one. As years pass, the persona are merging, with 'Schnapps' largely fading completely.

Currently in Ra Yellow and on the list of potential 'Blues', as Yuugi stuck his neck out for the family currently running his late Grandfather's shop to cover for otherwise necessary finances.

Matsuda Shindou – Black hair, tied back in a short 'tuft' of a pony tail. Wears glasses, and has blue eyes. Currently easy to mistake for Kudou Shinichi, and has in fact been kicked or punched in the face for it.

Cousin to Kudou Yuusaku, and organization member by way of scientific research in genetics. Formerly known as Amaretto, he and Gin both got themselves locked in a leaking chemical room, and nearly drowned in remnants of the APTX drug as a result; Shindou would regress to age 16, escape the section in someone's car trunk, and call his cousin for aid (after being mistaken for his second cousin and thereby realizing Shinichi was in fact alive). Gin, however, was no so lucky.

Formerly working part time at the Kame Game shop in Domino, following Sugoroku's death was allowed to run the shop entirely due to Yuugi Mutou's own conflict in career interest. He was also given the home, as Mrs. Mutou did not feel comfortable living alone in it, and he now lives there with his daughter. (The basement as well was inhabited at one point by a 'Mukuro Atem', but Atem no longer lives there, so it's become a guest room.)

Nyugen Kira – Long black hair obscuring her eyes; Kira is blind, though her eyes are green. Typically dresses in white, and has been known to wear yukata in the style of the dead.

An itako, Kira appears to live alone, occasionally using others around her for 'aid'. Skilled and more than knowledgeable in the ways of the dead and of magic, she has an uncanny sense of wisdom about her. She's extremely manipulative, and never appears to be anything but happy, with the impossible ability to instil fear by her presence alone- this is likely due to the fact that her constant presence and comfort around the dead results in a similar feeling of death from herself.

Currently resides in the 'abandoned dorm' on the academy's island, having snuck there on her own. She often enlists the 'aid' of the Shonen Tantei for whatever she wants done, and was in fact vital in gathering them as a force to rescue Ai.

Hatsu Shiro – nomnomhomocides - Ash brown-black hair, longer at the front than at the back. Grey eyes, and an obviously Caucasian build despite being ridiculously short compared to the rest of the cast.

A heavy example of why Conan is so cynical- Shiro's existence effectively crushed the last ounce of 'childhood' he'd been allowed to keep, and with a first ever exposure to 'magic' at the same time. Hatsu is a Jiang-Shi, a being that feeds on yang life energy. Starting out as a 20 something year old corpse, the over dose of energy he absorbed beforehand allows him to appear younger and seemingly 'age' with the others unless he undergoes severe damage and needs to replenish energy. Conan and Koji (and Kiyoiri) are considered 'fountains' to him.

Hatsu however, is more than simply a spit in the face of logic- he was and 'is' 'Sherlock Holmes', having created the inspiration for it with numerous cases. His long life however, along with the death of the real Watson many years prior, caused a considerable turn in aparent sanity for a bit, but following a series of events concerning Conan has perked up considerably; this is in part (again) due to the constant energy he can feed on; he's 'always' happy as a result, and thanks to Conan's attraction to mysteries, never bored. ...Nonetheless, he's a dangerous window to what 'could be' for Conan, and thereby subject of fear.

He's currently in 'Osiris Red' (as he prefers anonymity, and was 'curious' about the dueling school), and rigged Koji's exam scores to both force him to duel and force him into the same house as his roommate.

Yoshida Ayumi – Strangely enough the more 'clear headed' of the recent duo formed by herself and Kiyoiri; she acts as 'middle ground' between Ai's stoicism and Kiyoiri's airheadedness. Currently in Ra Yellow, she became interested in the card game during a visit with Kiyoiri, and unknown to herself has already solidified a solid bond between herself and every single one of her cards. Has the potential to be powerful in the arts of 'Shadow Magic' as a result.

Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko – Following the others to the school out of curiosity and constant egging, he and Ayumi are more or less in love with the other, but too afraid to ask about it. He entered Ra Yellow (sabotaging his grades to enter it in fact, as his parents were willing to fund for Obelisk Blue if need be), and despite being unsure about the game is starting to enjoy the strategic points in it.

Has a heavy interest in the extra-terrestrial (evidenced by his deck of 'Alien' cards), and is proving himself to be a large part in the Shonen Tantei's gradual increase in skill and fame.

Kojima Genta – Also following along to the school, he's not AS bright as the others, but the fact is, the 'others' don't exactly prove to be of average intelligence. He's considering the police force (Already..!!), but absolutely adores the Shonen Tantei group, and has proven himself time and time again to be a valuable asset to the group as it becomes more official. By this point in time, his 'fat' so to speak has been more evenly spread over the large skeleton he's got, making him seem stocky (And HUGE!) but otherwise fit.

He entered Osiris Red, but he's the only one to get there because of a scarce win in Duel Monsters as opposed to grades for quite some time; if he'd been good enough at dueling to start, he'd have had a fair shot at Yellow.

Haibara Ai – Also in Obelisk Blue, she's another of the few who entered 'willingly'; upon returning to Japan from the USA, she found out that the others were preparing to enter the Duel Academy... As it turned out, she was already playing the game recreationaly, so after weighing her options she decided to go. She's somewhat lightened her mood since canon, and though she's still fairly quiet and serious compared to the others she smiles much more now.

She fell into a slight depression after realizing Conan had been dosed with the DNA toxin, before working on it herself; she's since replicated and taken it, but the result is a sore point for her. She'd been aiming for a bird.

Unfortunately, Kiyoiri sent her a picture of a fake Ra card she found (Mukuro would later frame it rather than dispose of it, as the issue would lie only in using it), and as it turned out the imagined creature need not be a real one.

So. Arguably, her alternate form is the sun. (On the bright side, it's done wonders for her optimism...)

Mouri Ran – Currently attending Law school outside of Beika-ku, Ran has noticed and acknowledged the fact that Conan looks alarmingly similar to Shinichi did- she believes Shinichi is dead however, and rightfully so given that it truly is impossible for Shinichi to ever return as he was. She's a little less inclined to believe in the paranormal as she was before- ironic, given that she's come in contact with such things more in the recent years than she ever had in her entire lifetime.

Kuroba Kaito – Formerly the Kaitou Kid, he retired about 10 heists after he found and destroyed 'Pandora'. During events concerning the Underworld he found himself the unfortunate host of the demon Seir, and while the demon has been dealt with the incident left him with the bizarre ability to see where blood has fallen.

In a sense, he effectively has 'luminol eyes'. He's currently aiming for stage magic as a career, following in his father's footsteps, though he's taken to checking in on Conan rather often.

As it is, the reason he stopped at ten was because the Shonen Tantei just about caught him. As in... REALLY just about caught him. Someone had to free him before he got out.

Mukuro Atem – Rather tall due to his Ka form; a large, six foot tall bird, with his human head. The form can take a more humanoid shape (which is twice as tall..!!), but he uses a false body most of the time. This body has the same face and head as he would as a Ka of course- relatively long hair due to life after death means that the red-gold-black hair is obeying gravity now, and he has red eyes and deeply tanned skin. He has a set of marks beneath each eye resembling kohl, along with 'tear lines'. Due to the fact that he finds more comfort in open spaces now (feathers), he wears similarily 'airy' clothing, such as baggy shirts, pants... He also does this to prevent being mistaken for Yuugi, or at least for a relative, further supported by the bandana he wears, and the glasses or sunglasses he typically uses outside his own home. (IE the class)

He had his records falsified by Ryou Bakura. Bakura asked him multiple times if he was certain about that name, but apparently he liked how it sounded... As it is, he used these records to get going on catching up with the school system of Japan, before going after a teaching degree... And all from Kiyoiri's basement!

He currently teaches History at the Duel Academy, as well as representing (ironically) Osiris Red, thereby gaining the dorm house as a permanent residence.

Bakura Ryou – meitanteiryou - Currently the top detective in the Domino area, he's gained enough of a reputation that clients will now actually argue over whether it's better to go to him or Mouri Kogoro. He's a little on the illegal side of investigation, carrying a gun (not allowed) and lockpicks for aid in a few of his cases- he seems to attract the dangerous ones a fair bit, along with the 'weirder' ones, and it doesn't help that his interests in the occult are well known enough from youth that possible clients will instantly choose him
.

He shares an apartment with Hatsu, and has unfortunately picked up a bit of his skills in tact, or the lack thereof, though his ability to 'scan' people is certainly impressive. He tends to act as a 'way in' for the Shonen Tantei when they otherwise can't gain access to a case scene on their own, and has enough computer knowledge to create false records when needed; he's done it for Atem in fact, and was pleasantly surprised when it got through the Duel Academy's screening.

'Touzoku' (Ou) – caniskleftis - He insists that 'Ou' is there by the way. Touzoku, when called as such, resembles a white, fluffy jackal. He holds this form rather than human form due to the fact that it's his 'base'; if shocked enough, it's the form he reverts to. While in human form however he goes by Bakura's own name, posing as a 'distant relative' if the situation calls. (Situation typically being 'I'm totally with this guy so that I can tick him off mid-case.') His human form resembles his identity in the past; dark skin, white-grey hair and eyes, with scars on his face, though he appears to be dressed casually and completely in white
.

Far more 'tricky' in this incarnation, he's considered 'freed' of his former obsessions of revenge now that the spirits of his people have been put to rest. As such, he simply moves to enjoy his current afterlife to its fullest, while playing around with the local authorities by stealing things. He sometimes puts them back. And he sometimes doesn't. It really depends, but it was his near theft of the 'Devil's Gate' that caused Hatsu, Kiyoiri, Kira, Conan, Koji, and Kaito to wind up in the afterlife for a while themselves...

While Bakura Ryou dealt with him on his own.

His 'official' capture would later be by the Shonen Tantei with Mukuro's aid, as a murderer began to use his heist scenes as body dumps. To make sure he told the truth, he was bound to Mukuro's word; as such, there's a collar with a seal on it around his neck. Thankfully however, Mukuro very rarely uses this to his advantage, if he does at all, so by the time he became known at the Duel Academy as 'the teacher's dog', he was long ready to get back to being an overall pain.
